About Us

I started GameConventions.net because the convention listing sites that I knew of weren't very user friendly. None of them offered a search feature, and most didn't list very many cons. My idea for GameConventions.net is to be more complete and easier to use than other similar sites as well as to provide resources to those involved with conventions (Organizers, exhibitors, attendees, and game masters).

This site was started in November of 2003, and I've been slowly improving it ever since.

Who am I?

My name is Blair Reamy and I live near Ann Arbor Michigan. I've been gaming for a little over 15 years (wow that's half my life), and attending game conventions for about 10 years. I'm the events coordinator for U-Con, and I've been running events at Origins (under the banner of Amorphous Blob Games) for 6 years.
